check into life

if you have ever been to newtown or paddington you will look at the people who surround you. some are your ordinary people, and others are very different. as i was wondering the streets with an old friend, i come to see people climbing though a window above a shop, which seemed to be their apartment, and they were sitting on the roof, casually. they had their picnic blanket, and pillows, along with their drinks, and i looked up and wondered, how it would feel to have that sort of freedom. throughout my day at these wonderful places, i notice the style that each individual has, some have the 'classic' modern day look, and others have their own. whilst i was walking around with my friend, we both had a pair of doc martens on. me, oh i had white ones, and she had black. we noticed people would look at us, and comment to their friends. and then, when we saw someone with a pair of lovely docs, we would do the same. and it was like a circle of friendship which surrounded us. people would comment and say lovely things, and others wouldn't say anything, but they would smile. as the day passed, we had bought a few lovely items, a vintage dress, old levi shorts, and a sweet old fashioned shirt. the markets were very good, although they were quite small. as i sit in my small home, i watch a film on television, it is a sad story of a man with cancer, and it is quite distressing. i sit here and ponder of my lovely day, when there are people out there suffering. and i begin to realize how luck someone must be. have a lovely night everyone, sleep tight. and let your dreams take you away to your special place.
